The Mustang Dynobase

One area I'm really excited about is the dyno section of this site. My goal is to build and share a nice database of engine builds and their resulting dyno number and ET times. How would this work? Simple. 5.0 owners need simply to fill out a dyno sheet form and submit it.

What's the purpose? I see a ton, and I mean a ton of forum topics (all over the internet) asking how to make x amount of horsepower or to run x.x in the quarter mile. The objective here is host different build combinations and their results so other users (looking to make say 300hp) can come and see what other people have done to reach that goal (or whatever goal they have in mind). Similar to an encylopedia.

Now I only own one Mustang, thus I need the help of you guys, reading this, to help by submitting your own car and dyno numbers. Doesn't take long (maybe 5 minutes max) and no account needed. Fast and painless :)
Dyno sheet consists of the following necessary info:

  • Year
  • Body style
  • ET
  • Horsepower/torque
  • Car weight
  • Any modifications done (engine, suspension, chassis etc)
  • Owner name (format: Joe S.)
  • Contact info (if desired - can be email, phone, link to a forum profile, whatever - if people have questions)
All submissions will be sorted by ET time (if known), that way it is very simple for users to see what kind of combo is needed or possible to attain that timeslip.

Dyno info can be submitted through the automated system. Click here to send dyno numbers!
