0

AMD just released it’s new Zen 3 line up of which AMD Ryzen 7 5800X will be the processor in high demands. The processor hits the sweet spot in terms of functioning and price, thus making AMD a great competition for Intel processors. When looking at these processors straight from a gaming perspective they are great. Most gaming laptops these days are powered by an AMD processor due to powerful performance and cost-cutting.

With valuable Ryzen 7 5800X has 8 cores and 16 threads which is pretty decent for high-res gaming. This is the third chip in the AMD stack of Zen 3 which is above Ryzen 5 at 6 cores and threads but below Ryzen 9 which is 16 core and 32 threads. Gamers have tested this chip and have rated it as great value for money. Most people going for a budget PC with a high level of performance are going for this processor. It is also being used in the PC being built by individual gamers.

Specifications

Zen 3 in itself is one of the smartest memory architectures that has ever been developed by AMD before this. With Ryzen 7 you get 8 core 6 thread chip a base clock of 3.8 GHz capable of hitting 4.7 GHz with a turbo boost. All eight cores have access to 32 MB of L3 cache. Assigning 32 MB chips means that there will be no chance of slowdowns between the activities being performed. The core speed during gaming was seen to be around 4.5 to 4.6 GHz which is a healthy clock speed for any PC. It should reach a peak during intensive sessions.

Performance

When it comes to performance, Ryzen 7 can impress everyone easily. With increased memory and IPC count, the processor is much faster than its predecessor. When looking at the rendering the processor is faster than i7. Thus, the true video encoding stakes are higher in Ryzen 7. It can manage 54 fps in comparison to i7 which goes up to 43 fps. The healthiest lead in tough gaming is of 7 fps for Ryzen than Intel. The takeaway is that there now there is no groundbreaking comparison between both the processors, both of them are different in every way with few ups and downs. Overclocking was great and a performance of 4.7 GHz was accessed at 1.3 V that had a positive impact on gaming performance.
